Hello, my name is Madison and I want to thank you for coming to read my blog!  I'll have a lot to say in the weeks ahead so won't you join me?  

A few things about myself first.  I am 24 years old, going on 25 this year.  I am a separated mother of 2 young girls who are the most precious gifts in my life.  We have an adorable Mini Pinscher named Rocco that completes our small family.

I was born and raised in a strict Jehovah's Witness household.  There were hardly any extracurricular activities as we were taught to "put the Kingdom first" in all of our endeavors.  This has created a lot of difficulties for me and my family which I will elaborate on further.

Where I am at now is in somewhat of a transition period.  I recently rented my own apartment and am working a full-time job as well as a weekend job that I do when I need the extra money.  I plan on separating permanently from both my husband and my religion.  Currently I am "inactive" and have quit field service and meetings in the new year. 

This blog is going to editorialize my exit and provide some measure of therapy for me in this time.  I am in great spirits and am always looking to stay positive.  I hope to see you here.
